Type of position: Senior scientist

Subject area: Molecular immunology, microbiology, cardiology.

Requirements: A strong and documented background in molecular immunology and a PhD (or equivalent) is requested. First authorship of at least a paper on this topic in an international journal is a requirement.

Description: The candidate will lead a group of two scientists and a student addressing of the immunological mechanisms that are involved in the vascular damage. The group will be supervised by Prof. Attilio Maseri, Prof. Massimo Clementi and Prof. Roberto Burioni.

Sta rt date: July 2007, one year, renewable.

Salary or grant: The salary will be proportioned to experience and seniority.
