Doctoral degree. Background in biochemistry and/or structral
biology. Knowledge of techniques to study protein-DNA interactions a plus.
Strong personal motivation to understand the structure-function relationship in proteins.
Description: Successful applicants will use biochemical and biophysical techniques to study the structure and properties of an archetypal DNA repair enzyme that recognizes a variety of lesions, including the presence of inosine or apurinic sites.
Start date: Immediately available
Duration: Three-year fellowship
